Innovation in New Fields in an Endeavor to Evolve into a New Mimaki

For Accomplishing “Mimaki Innovation 30”

The Mimaki Group is a manufacturer specializing in industrial inkjet printers. We have been offering products as well as highly functional inks by advancing the digitalization of industrial printing as stated in the management vision.

Recently, we formulated a new medium- to long-term growth strategy “Mimaki Innovation 30” for the five-year period from the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025 to the fiscal year ending March 31, 2030. With this strategy, we aim to achieve net sales of 150 billion yen for the final fiscal year ending March 31, 2030. In our existing business of industrial inkjet printers, we will continue to enrich the product line and push ahead with the digitalization of industrial printing in a bid to attain growth. In addition, we will seek to expand from Digital Print into a new high-viscosity domain Digital Paint. In this domain, we will capitalize on technologies cultivated in Digital Print as part of our initiatives for multi-material technologies for modeling many different combinations of materials at the same time and other technologies in new areas. In so doing, we will attempt to open new possibilities. We will also pursue initiatives aimed at developing, manufacturing and selling inkjet printer peripherals. For example, we will work to develop flexible organic electro-luminescence sheets and to launch a second brand named “Mimaki La-Meccanica”.

The Mimaki Group will continue to develop, manufacture and sell products that are valuable to our customers with a focus on providing something new and something different, instead of imitations of existing products on the market. Digitalization is accelerating, geopolitical risks are growing, and changes are intensifying. In this situation, we will head towards a next stage together with stakeholders with a willingness to take on new challenges. We hope you will look forward to a new Mimaki.
